Born in Northumberland more than half a century ago I find myself here, starting up a new business in the middle of a pandemic! A pandemic that has been felt throughout the world and has touched everyone to different degrees. It's been a pandemic which has had a hard effect on myself and my family because I, along with about 250000 people in the UK, suffer from a blood cancer. After more than a year of shielding,  I decided to turn what could be a very uncertain future into an opportunity to take a very different path. My interest in designing and crafting gifts for family and friends led to so many people telling me to 'bite the bullet' and give it a go. And so, here I am, creating handmade, personalised gifts that I hope you will enjoy using as much as I do making them. Growing up and working in the North East has given me the opportunity to explore the wonderful landscape and rich history of Northumberland close up (and in all weathers!). As you browse through my website you will see the inspiration that I have taken from the people and places that are close to my heart.
